新年晚會 Chinese New Year Celebration 為了慶祝龍年的到來, 今年華府的新年晚會將訂於二月五日下午4:30-7:00舉行。我們將節目時間稍微提前, 以便讓那些熱心的球迷可以即時回家觀看超級盃大賽! 會中除了有學生們的精彩表演和文化課作品展覽之外,家長會也照例提供豐盛的獎品讓大家有歡喜中獎的機會! 另外, 我們會在下兩個星期日(1/22 & 1/29) 開始賣出晚餐盒的餐劵.。今年的晚餐盒將由海珍樓籌辦, 請家長們到學校大廳處向家長會事先購買。
To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, our school is planning a Chinese New Year Celebration on Sunday, February 5, from 4:30-7:00 pm. We understand this event will take place at the same day as the Super Bowl, so we have decided to move the time earlier in order to allow those sport fans to go home in time for the game! In addition to many performances and art projects presented by students, PTA will also offer a raffle with great prizes. So come test your luck! The PTA will also start selling tickets for dinner boxes the following two Sundays, 1/22 & 1/29. This year’s dinner boxes are prepared by Seven Seas Restaurant. Please come to the common area at school to place your order in advance.
新年晚會餐盒內容包括: Here is the content of four different types of dinner boxes:
大人葷便當 (每盒8 元 ) -- 松子魚米, 黑椒肉排, 紅燜素黃雀, 辣椒小魚
Regular Box ($8.00/box) – Fish with Pine Nuts, Black Pepper Pork Chop, Yellow Bird (Tofu Skin Wrap with Mixed Vegetable, Mushroom), Dried Sardine with Leek and Chili 
大人素便當 Veggie Box (每盒8 元) -- 紅燜素黃雀, 當季時蔬, 三菇六婆, 香干西芹
Veggie Box ($8.00/box) - Yellow Bird (Tofu Skin Wrap with Mixed Vegetable, Mushroom), Sautéed Vegetables, Sautéed Mixed Mushroom, Dried Bean Curd with Celery 
兒童便當 Kids Box (每盒5 元) -- 香酥雞排, 當季時蔬, 酸菜肉茉, 滷蛋
Kids Box ($5.00/box) – Crispy Chicken Fillet, Sautéed Vegetables, Ground Pork with Preserved Vegetables, Soy Sauce Hard Boiled Egg 
兒童pizza – 每大片 3 元 Kids Pizza – each big slice is $3.00
每個餐盒還附加橘子一個和一瓶水或是果汁. 請記得帶支票或是現金來跟家長會訂購!
Each dinner box also includes a tangerine and a bottle of water for adults or a juice box for children. Please remember to bring a check or cash to place your order with the PTA!
