Culture classes are part of the school day (3:45-4:30). These classes help students cultivate an appreciation for Chinese culture and learn more than just the language. Students have fun participating in activities such as Chinese dance, martial arts, and calligraphy.
There are many extracurricular activities for students to participate in on Sunday, either before or after Chinese School.
Dragon Boat has a long history and stems from the legend of Qu Yuan. Students, ages 13-17, have the opportunity to join Hua Fu's Youth Dragon Boat Team. The annual competition is held around the Dragonboat Festival (端午節).
